NEW: Pauly D’s New Reality Show to Premiere March 29

Get out your remotes, Rhode Island. It's finally the Pauly D hour.
MTV has announced the premiere date for The Pauly D Project, the long-awaited spinoff from the network's popular Jersey Shore franchise, starring none other than the spotlight-drawing DJ from the 401, Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio. The Pauly D Project is set to premiere on MTV on March 29 at 10:30pm.
Look for the show to follow the aspirational moves of the driven, remarkably likable Pauly D, who has already traded up his reality TV status for tours with Britney Spears and collaborations with 50 Cent and his G-Note Records label.
According to MTV News, the new show promises a Shoreless cast of "colorful characters," including Michael "Biggie" Moran (Pauly's road manager from RI), and Gerard "Big Jerry" Gialanella (his personal bodyguard and pal). And keep an eye peeled for 50 Cent himself, who makes a few cameo appearances, according to MTV.
The Pauly D Project will hit the airwaves right after a revitalized, revved up return of Punk'd, which will now feature celebrity hosts.
