The Henry Barnard Laboratory School at Rhode Island College will be conducting its annual Kindergarten Lottery on Dec. 12, 2012. Current four-year-olds who will be five years old no later than Aug. 15, 2013, are welcome to apply for kindergarten.

Applicants may come from any Rhode Island city or town (transportation MAY be provided by your city), or from nearby Massachusetts. If selected in the lottery, the child will then be invited to a kindergarten admissions screening, the results of which will determine eligibility for enrollment for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Eligibility for Henry Barnard School

In order to be eligible for the lottery, a completed application and non-refundable $25 deposit must besubmitted to the Henry Barnard Laboratory School no later than 3 p.m. on Dec. 10, 2012. Families of children selected in the lottery will be notified by email and USPS of their screening time. All others will be notified of non-selection by email.
