Former GoLocalTV host Lauren Marchetti is looking for love on the new season of ABC's The Bachelor, which premieres tonight.

GoLocalTV's former anchor and co-host Lauren Marchetti will be looking for love on national TV in the new season of The Bachelor, which premieres tonight on ABC at 8pm EST.

Marchetti, who anchored the original GoLocalTV broadcast platform with Greg Berman in 2011 and 2012, is also a former New England Patriots Cheerleader. Her hometown is Cranston, Rhode Island.

She joins 24 other bachelorettes who will be vying for Bachelor Sean Lowe's affections in the new season.

Marchetti answered her first round of public Bachelor questions posed to her by ABC, now live on the network's website.

Who do you admire most in the world and why?
My parents provided a great life for my brothers and I. Taught me strong values and prepared me for every type of situation I may face. They provided a solid foundation for my life.

What is your favorite all-time book and why?
"The Best Advice I ever got" compiled by Katie Couric. This book is full of great life lessons from people in all career fields.

I hate it when my date...
doesn't offer to pick me up from my house, texts me and doesn't come to the door to let me know he's there.
