Linden Place Mansion to Host Holiday Cocktail Party

Linden Place Mansion will host a cocktail party to kick off its month-long holiday celebration of the arts.
The party will take place on Saturday, December 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Tickets are $50, $45 for Linden Place members. Reservations are required as space is limited.
About the month-long celebration, Linden Place writes, “this year, every mantel, nook, and cranny of this 200-year old mansion is decorated for the season and joined by original artworks by members of the Providence Art Club.”
Linden Place continued, “from watercolors, ceramics, glass, handmade books, illustration, and prints to paintings, sculpture, glass and more, discover something new in each historic room.”

Final rosters for the tournament are due January 28.

The Festival of Lights at La Salette Shrine
By far one of the coolest lighting displays you will see anywhere in New England and maybe even the country.
The festival features 300,000 lights over 10 acres of land.
The Festival of Lights runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. every night until January 6.

Riding the Polar Express
No better way to get into the holiday spirit than to hop aboard the Polar Express.
The train runs through December 23.

The display runs from November 23 through December 30.
Christmas by Candlelight at Old Sturbridge Village is an evening filled with New England holiday traditions, live musical performances, storytelling, sleigh rides, festive foods, a roaring bonfire, and strolls around the decorated Village Common.
