What will 2016 hold for both popular — and reviled — RI talk radio host John DePetro?
WPRO’s parent company, Cumulus, has been the subject of speculation of major financial distress. The union-led group For Our Daughters has recently revamped its effort to get DePetro fired.
DePetro has always proven himself to be a Timex — he takes a licking and keeps on ticking, whether the subject of a station suspension or firing, or a harassment suit. DePetro, who’s won AP awards for his show, countered the latest move by For Our Daughters to oust him.
