Help Woonsocket’s Bernon Heights Elementary Win a Playground

With just a click or two, Rhode Island can help a deserving elementary school in Woonsocket win its own playground.
Because right now, the kids of Bernon Heights Elementary School don't have one.
It's easy.
Bernon Heights' PTO has launched a campaign for votes to win a $25K Pepsi Refresh Project grant to help fund a playground at the school. Members of the public can vote for the idea every day, now through August 31, online here.
Bernon Heights Elementary School does not have a playground and the school’s PTO is working hard to try to raise the funds needed to build one. The children currently play on a blacktop and in a field adjacent to
the parking lot. By voting for building a playground at Bernon Heights, supporters will be enriching the educational experience for the school’s more than 400 students, providing them with a safe and fun place to play, right on school grounds.
Here's how to vote
To vote for Bernon Heights, supporters should visit www.refresheverything.com/playground4bernon, register with the site and vote for the “idea” each day. Supporters can also collect Power Vote codes from specially-marked Pepsi product packages. The codes can be entered on the site and those extra votes can be given to the “Playground 4 Bernon” idea.
The Pepsi Refresh Project has already given away thousands of dollars in grants to improve education across America. Now, with the help of Rhode Island, it can be Bernon Heights’ turn.
