video: GoLocal Goes Skydiving: Must See

Saturday, August 06, 2011

For some sports you need a ball, for skydiving, you need them both. Skydiving is one of those things that you need to do, at least once (but don't tell your mom until after!). Fly 10,000 ft high, jump out of a plane that's still cruising 80mph, free fall for 6,000ft (at ~120mph), then pull your chute and sail down the rest of the way. GoLocalProv teamed up with Skydive Newport to make it happen and Correspondent David Brownschidle lived to tell the story.

Want more information on Skydive Newport and more great extreme activities in RI? Read David's story, here.

For more extreme excitment, want to see GoLocalProv's Nate Holterman swim with sharks? Go here.
