The Holmes Brothers bring blues, gospel, soul, funk, and some country to Kennedy Plaza this week, and it's all free.

While RI's music festivals roll along, there's a killer opportunity to hear live music right in the heart of downtown Providence every week. For free.

The Burnside Park Beer Garden Music Series has returned to Kennedy Plaza this summer, with an impressive mix of local and national acts. This series is part of the programming efforts of Greater Kennedy Plaza, with the mission of promoting Providence's core as a vibrant and active destination for families, residents, professionals, and tourists alike.

Music... and yes, beer

The Burnside Park Beer Garden Music Series takes place by the fountain in the park and will run every Thursday from July to August. Beer garden is open from 4:30 - 7pm with music from 5:30 - 6:30pm. In addition to great tunes, there are lawn games, local Revival Beer, and delicious offerings from gourmet food trucks.
