Federal Hill Celebrates San Giuseppe Feast with Culinary Events for NCAA Hoop Fans

|NCAA Basketball fans and all food lovers are invited to Federal Hill this coming week for two two new culinary events designed to welcome the NCAA fans coming into Providence and Celebrate the feast of San Giuseppe (St Joseph’s).
The events begin on Thursday, March 17th at Garibaldi park located adjacent to the Arch on Atwells Avenue. From 12- 5pm attendees can enjoy a variety of selections from Roma and Biergarten. Music will be played by a DJ from the Omni stage. On Saturday, March 19th to celebrate San Giuseppe day Roma and Biergarten will return to Garibaldi Park with the DJ again from 12-5pm. pen

Acorn street will be closed between Atwells Ave and Spruce Street hosting a block party from 12-8pm. The block party will feature food including traditional Zeppole, beverages and alfresco dining seating from; Tony’s Colonial, DaVinci Ristorante, Roma, Harrys Bar & Burger, Café Pazzo, Opa, Biergarten and Trattoria Del Mare. From 12-6pm a DJ. The blessing of the Zeppole will be done at 12pm when the block party opens. All of Federal Hill is excited to welcome basketball fans and celebrate San Giuseppe with them.
