Family Matters: Family Biking & More

Spring is really here, wtih buds bursting out everywhere. Are the kidos as well? Here are three great ways to keep them busy and happy.
Kido Tip 1. Bike Safety and Tune Up
Plan to tune up the bikes this weekend. Check that your children's bike still fits or merely needs the training wheels off or seat adjusted. Make sure their helmet still fits properly. Check that reflectors, horns, and water
bottle holders are securely attached. If the bike needs major repairs or it is time to trade in the booker, visit Recycle a Bike on Sims Avenue in Providence. Review bicycle safety with kids.Kido Tip 2. Buy Indie Day
We love shopping local and supproting our independent book stores. May 1st has been declared Buy Indie Day. The idea: buy one book—paperback, hardcover, or audiobook, at an independent bookstore near you and together we help can keep these places in business.
