The Providence Public Library will host A Downton Abbey Fashion Primer and Tea II. The Event will take place on Sunday, February 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Library's meeting room, located on the third floor.
This year the BBC drama Downton Abbey, in it's fifth season, will explore life in the 1920's for the Grantham Family, their social circle and their servants. In the show, the customers continue to use clothing to define characters and illustrate their places in society.
At this year's Downton Abbey Fashion Primer and Tea II, cultural historian Madelyn Shaw will look at where the Grantham family has been and where they will be heading in the upcoming season.
