Is your household going to the dogs? Take them out to dinner, and support the Providence Animal Rescue League in the process.

Two of Providence's most popular eateries are going to the dogs... and couldn't be happier.

Luxe Burger Bar and Rick’s Roadhouse are pleased to announce the spring return of the doggie menu, inspired by maestro John Elkhay’s pups, Daisy and Penny, and grand-dogs Lilly and Pierre.  A portion of the proceeds from the doggie menu will go to the Providence Animal Rescue League.

Special menus, special seating

Available for outdoor dining only, the doggie menus at Luxe and Rick’s feature a variety of snacks and meals for everyone’s favorite pet, including a grilled and sliced chicken breast, a 1/3 lb hamburger patty cooked to perfection, scrambled eggs with or without bacon and cheese, and of course: hot dogs. Indulgent desserts will include a choice of original or peanut butter Frosty Paws and house-made chicken or beef “Pupsicles.”

Providence Animal Rescue League

The funds go to a longstanding local organization with animal rescue as its mission. Since 1913, the Providence Animal Rescue League has been providing compassionate care, medical treatment and adoption services to thousands of animals each year. PARL receives no federal or state funding, so the proceeds from Doggie Dining will add to  donations from generous individuals, businesses and foundations to support its mission.

Luxe Burger Bar, 5 Memorial Blvd, and Rick's Roadhouse, 370 Richmond Street, both in Providence. For more information on this season's Doggie Dining, visit www.chowfunfoodgroup.com.
