Linden Place Mansion

Linden Place Mansion in Bristol has added dates to its “Hauntings of Linden Place” Guided Tour.

There will be a special docent-led tour on Thursday nights and will cover the ghost stories associated with the DeWolf and Colt families.

The one-hour tour will invite guests to see the entire mansion and will be followed by light refreshments.

The Tour

Guests will learn about the rumored hauntings of Colt Farm and Colt Memorial School, about vampires roaming the towns of Rhode Island in the 1800s, and mediums summoning the return of the lost.

Discover the traditional mourning practices of families in Bristol by examining jewelry, dress, and photographs. Experiment with some of the “weird science” techniques practiced during the nineteenth century.

Lastly, guest will discover if any of Linden Place’s ghosts will be following them home.
