Wings Over Providence, Providence 

Though a chain, the acclaimed restaurant Wings Over maintains a local feel by the taking the name of the city in which it is located. And the local Wings Over is a huge favorite of Providence college students. Whether you're looking for a quick late-night snack for delivery or a full meal, Wings offers a number of size options of both boneless and regular wings to quench whatever appetite you have. There are a multitude of savory flavors available for toppings, including five different types of Buffalo sauce depending on how hot you want them. Rick’s Roadhouse, Providence 

If you want a laid-back but really fun atmosphere as you enjoy your wings, Rick’s Roadhouse in Providence is right for you. The hardcore will want to check out Rick's “Wings from Hell.” These wings are so hot that if you finish them your picture will be posted on the “Wall of Flame” and forever honored as a braver man than I. South Street Café, Providence 

The Patriots (that’s right, the New England Patriots) order food from the South Street Café in Providence, and if it’s good enough for them it must be good enough for you! The wings are jumbo and the price is cheap. The wings are deep-fried and offered in flavors such as barbeque, teriyaki and buffalo. They are full of flavor and not too greasy. The Abbey, Providence

The Abbey is most known for its incredible selection of 92 beers and its mouth-watering burgers. But you can also grab some of their world famous wings and try them with a few of the Abbey’s “soon-to-be-world famous” dipping sauces including the unique tiger sauce, cucumber wasabi, and chipotle ketchup. Doherty’s East Avenue Irish Pub, Pawtucket 

If you want some ice cold beer with your wings, you would be hard-pressed to find a better place than Doherty’s. There are an amazing 82 beers on draft! There are a total of nine choices of flavors for their famous wings, including Buffalo of five different levels of heat. Other options include Orange Ginger, Teriyaki and Barbeque. Parente’s, Smithfield (good for Bryant students)

Parente’s Restaurant in Smithfield is a fine, cozy, establishment welcoming to all kinds of people. The chicken wings are of note here, especially the Buffalo wings and tenders. The Ocean Mist, Wakefield (good for URI students)

During the warmer months of the year, it is hard to find a better hang out place than a beach bar. But that’s not all the Ocean Mist has to offer. There is live music, a nightclub and a pub great for drinks and food. The pub offers deep-fried wings and tenders with the usual flavors along with the mouth-watering Chipotle BBQ option. There are always great food specials available and of course terrific beverages as well. Charlie O’s Tavern, Narragansett (good for URI students)

Serving food 11:30 am to 12 am daily, Charlie O’s Tavern offers a great selection of eats and beverages. Wing flavors include Buffalo, Barbeque, Teriyaki, and Golden or Garlic Parmigiano, served as both fingers and boned. There are daily drink and food promotions. Cabral’s Gourmet Chicken, Bristol (good for RWU students)

Cabral’s Gourment Chicken is honored for its unmatched quality in chicken options as the name suggests. It is great for all college students but in particular for students at Roger Williams as the restaurant accepts the Unicard. This place is particularly great for ordering food for parties or any other event one may wish to plan. Barbeque chicken wings are made to order. Nikolas Pizza, Newport (good for Salve and RWU students)

Nikolas Pizza is a Newport favorite famous for its pizza but, as with many pizza establishments, it offers great wing selections as well. Its wings are award-winning with flavors ranging from three temperatures of Buffalo to Hot Pepper & Old Bay and a combination of Barbeque and Teriyaki.
