November kicks off the beginning of the annual "Scouting for Food" drive.

All donations will begin to be collected at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 1st by over 200 local Boy Scout Packs and Troops. Scouts encourage those wiling to donate to their cause to leave non-perishable food items in an easily accessible area outside your property.

"We encourage the community to remember those in need and to give generously so we can reach record numbers for this year's food drive," said John Mosby, a Narragansett Council Scout Executive. "We are looking forward to another successful drive."
