Barrington Garden Club to Showcase Local Homes

The Barrington Garden Club will hold a garden tour and flower show at eight homes on June 11. In the club's "Beyond the Garden Gate," 8 Barrington gardens in the Barrington Beach, Alfred Drown, Nayatt, Primrose Hill and Rumstick neighborhoods will be showcased to the public as part of tour and flower show.
Linda Bainer, the ticket sales coordinator said, "People will see all types of flowers from roses to hydrangeas in different settings including seaside gardens,"
The tour will take place from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and begin at St. John's Episcopal Church. Advance tickets are available for $25 through [email protected] or by calling (401) 474-1217. Tickets will cost $30 on the day of the show.

Proceeds of the garden tour will support the Barrington Garden Club's Civic Beautification projects at 6 public gardens in town and Osamequin Nature Trail, as well as educational programs for the club and community.
