I had the pleasure of meeting David Lamb and MorganEve Swain at The Low Anthem's album release show for Smart Flesh back in the spring of 2011 at an abandoned pasta sauce factory in Central Falls. Right from the moment I met them they struck me with such humbleness and gratitude as well as playing a dynamic set during that evening. I've been a huge fan ever since and every time I hear about Brown Bird playing in The Ocean State my eyes light up like a 5 year old on Christmas morning.
