Newport Harbor will be bristling with tall masts and the sails that go with them this weekend. The Tall Ships are back!

Just recovering from the mid-week holiday, or have you taken the whole week off? No matter. This is a big-event summer weekend, full of everything from festivals to fishing. Enjoy!

Ocean State Tall Ships Festival, Newport

Friday-Thursday  They're back! Sailing ships will flock to Newport, as part of the Tall Ships Challenge. The beautiful waterfront is a perfect place to watch these ships sail by, while also enjoying great food, music, and entertainment. New Bedford Summerfest

Friday-Sunday  This Festival brings together over 70 well-known and emerging musicians. This festival isn’t only about music, it will also host many local artists and crafters from Maine to California, including an International Bazaar. And of course, this festival is prepared to feed their hungry patrons, with local restaurants, street carts, and a food court. Music, food, and all kinds of festivities come to India Point Park this Sunday at the oldest celebration of Cape Verdean culture in the country.
