From one end of the state to the other, we've got the 5 no-miss events to make your weekend complete. You ready?

11th Annual Spring Thaw Pow Wow

Saturday  Join the All Ivy Native Council (AINC) this weekend for a Pow Wow at Brown University. The group of Native American students from across the Ivy League will be hosting a conference to raise awareness about Native American issues and foster community between communities. Events for the day include Native American dancing, drumming, food, arts and crafts, and distinguished guests’ presentations centered around the theme “Natives Near and Far: A Congruent Evolution - Growth, Progress, and Adaptation”. 11:30 am–7 pm. David Sedaris

Saturday  Renowned author, David Sedaris, comes to share his satire and comedic wit with Providence this weekend. Let Sedaris make you laugh through sardonic social, cultural, and political critiques featured in his collections of personal, best-selling essays. Cirque Odyssey

The acrobatic artistry of Cirque Odyssey comes to Woonsocket's Park Theatre this weekend.

Saturday  Experience the captivating beauty and awe of Cirque Odyssey in a lovely and exciting performance this weekend. State of the Union Show

Friday  Get down to Fete this weekend for the second assembly of some of the best local bands in Providence! Westerly Springs Green

Saturday  With Earth Day around the corner, come down to Oyster Works this weekend for the 2nd Annual Westerly Springs Green, an event focusing on sustainable living, local agriculture, and all things green! Featuring exhibitions on everything from composting to beekeeping, workshops, a farmer’s market, great prizes and family activities, there’s something for everyone to learn about. Peace, Love, Art

Saturday  Bring the whole family and indulge in the wonderful world of creativity with Peace Love Studios. Foster your kids’ imagination with art and crafts projects, and help support Peace Love Studio’s work with mentally challenged kids in the community. 10 am.
