Great Pumpkin Road Race and Dog Walk, Warren

Sunday  Don't miss out on this irresistible combination of cute and creepy at the Great Pumpkin Road Race and Dog Walk.  This day long event is filled with festivity and fitness from a Costume Parade and Judging for dogs and owners, Dog Walk, a Kid's Fun Run, and a 5K Road Race.  Enjoy free food, free beer, and an awesome T-Shirt with registration. $20 to register, $5 for Kids Fun Run. Celtic Harp and Story Teller Patrick Ball at Blackstone River Theater, Cumberland

Saturday  Embark on a mystical journey of spoken word and searing music with Patrick Ball, one of the premier Celtic harp players and captivating spoken word artists in the world, at The Blackstone River Theater.  Patrick weaves richly theatrical and hauntingly beautiful tales with his accent brass-strung harp of Ireland and resonant voice in a night of transfixing tradition. Friday  Forge memories of molten metal at The Steel Yard and the Iron Guild for the 7th annual Halloween Iron Pour. Regional artists have come together to create a stunning theatrical performance of molten metal sculptures, fire, and bravado.  Experience an aerial dance performance by local artists Teresa Kochis & Michelle Struckholz with live music provided by Cave of Colors, DJ Unkle Thirsty, and Empty House Cooperative providing music for the Pour itself. 27 Sims Ave, Providence, (401) 273-7101. 5:00pm.  $10 donation required. Saturday-Sunday  Bring family and fun into the fear of Halloween at Roger Williams Park Zoo's Spooky Zoo.  Experience live pumpkin carving demonstration, live music and seasonal entertainment, creepy crawly animal encounters, costumed characters, a magician, pumpkin treats for the animals, and spooky art activities.
