Firstworks kicks off its season with Cirkopolis, a captivating show by Cirque Eloize.

Happy Halloween, Rhode Island! Enjoy tricks and treats this weekend with some great fall events. There's plenty to see, and getting out of the house will help you work off all those candy calories!

Cirkopolis, Providence

Friday-Saturday  Twelve acrobats, jugglers, contortionists, and aerialists will defy the limits of gravity in reality when Firstworks presents Cirque Eloize: Cirkopolis this weekend at PPAC. This dreamlike show has dazzled audiences in 36 countries, and is now on its way to Providence. With a creative stage design of factory-meets-city complete with giant gears and dark portals, there's no way you can miss out on this spectacular show. 7:30pm showing Friday, 4pm showing Saturday. Fine Furnishings Show, Pawtucket

Friday-Sunday  Homeowners, art lovers, fine craft collectors, interior designers, and architects should all find themselves at the Pawtucket Armory this weekend for a fantastic showcase of handcrafted furniture, accessories, fine crafts, and original art. The 18th Annual Fine Furnishings Show will feature quilts, lamps, rugs, mirrors, paintings, sculptures, jewelry, glass, ceramics, and more. Custom orders are also welcomes. Holiday Craft Fairs

It's never too early for holiday shopping! Get started this weekend.

Saturday  Get a jump on your holiday shopping this Saturday with three great holiday craft fairs in Portsmouth and Newport. Cherish the Moments will hold its 3rd Annual Holiday Showcase from 10am-4pm at the Green Valley Country Club, 371 Union Street, Portsmouth. The Newport Holiday Craft Show will also take place on Saturday from 10am-4pm, at Easton's Beach Rotunda, 175 Memorial Blvd. St. Joseph's Church in Newport will host its Annual Harvest Fair from 9:30-3pm at 47 Broadway, where you'll find food, prizes, auctions, activities, and of course, great buys!

Indoor Powwow, Warwick

Saturday-Sunday  Pick up something extra special from one of the more than 20 vendors at the 23rd Annual Indoor Powwow. The event will also feature pony rides and a bunny corral for the kiddos, as well as live native entertainment (complete with dancers and drums) and food, including BBQ, potatoes, and native foods. Free admission and parking. 10am-4pm, with a grand entry at 1pm. Trudeau Memorial Center, 3445 Post Road.

Newport Restaurant Week 2013

Nov. 1-10  It's that time of year again...Newport Restaurant Week is upon us!
