Forever Young Saturday
Saturday night, head to the Park Theatre in Cranston to hear Forever Young, hands down the state’s best cover/tribute band. The collective made up of John Amitrano, Amy Bedard, John Fuzek, Dan Lilley, Gary St. Germain and Pete Vendettuoli does more than “cover” Neil Young – they play his classics and lesser known songs and make them their own. The band has evolved since three founding members (Fuzak, Lilley, and Mark Cutler) got together in 2006 for a RI Songwriters Association to play Neil’s classic “Powderfinger.” Saturday’s show will be a reunion of sorts with former members of the band including Cutler, Becky Chase and others scheduled to appear. The evening opens at 8PM with Trinity, a Crosby, Stills, Nash tribute. Tickets available here.
