Beyonce at Gillette
You’ve waited all winter – tonight one of the biggest tours of the summer comes to Gillette Stadium. The superstar who is Beyonce brings her “Formation Tour” to town. She arrives on the heels of her groundbreaking new album Lemonade, a release that’s been hailed by critics and fans alike. Tickets are still available for the stadium show starting at $50 plus fees.

PVD Fest This Weekend
Something tells me Cuban music is about to get big. Very big. Especially this weekend in Providence. The Afro-Cuban All Stars are one of the premier bands of the genre, and they’re a major part of the PVD Fest this weekend in Creative Capital. Led by Musical director Juan de Marcos González, who arranged for the famed Buena Vista Social Club, the band is a collective of rotating musicians. Florence and the Machine
Florence and the Machine took the alt/indie music world by storm a few years ago, playing small venues and festivals and now the band is headlining large amphitheaters. Expect to hear tunes from their 2015 #1 album, How Big, How Blue and How Beautiful. The London band plays Tuesday June 7 at the Infinity Center (formerly Great Woods) in Mansfield. Equally impressive Reykjavik, Iceland’s Of Monster and Men open the show. Tickets are still available here starting at $34.

Joe Walsh and Bad Company
Head back to the Infinity Center on Thursday for a classic rock extravaganza with a double bill starring Joe Walsh and Bad Company. Walsh is the award winning guitarist with the Eagles, but is also known for solo tunes like “Life’s Been Good,” “Rocky Mountain Way” and “Funk #49,” made famous in his first group, James Gang. He’s joined by Paul Rogers led Bad Company, another band that made its name playing guitar rock in the 1970’s. The “One Hell of a Night” tour hits the Infinity Center at 7PM on Thursday June 9. Samantha Fish at Chan's
Samantha Fish kicks off a great week of the blues at tonight at Chan's in Woonsocket. Fish is considered one of the top contemporary Blues artists on the scene today. She's followed tomorrow night by Rhode Island Blues legend Duke Robillard and by Serbian born guitar slinger Ana Popovich next Tuesday June 7. Late word is that tonight's show is officially sold out, but tickets remain for the other two shows. Click here for the details.
