A Short Story

You’ve dreamed of the day to just chop it all off but then the “AAH!” factor sets in and you realize you just can’t do it. Instead of lopping off those locks, pin them up for an easy bob that just looks like you went Posh Spice. Buy bobbypins at any drugstore or beauty supply store to pin the hair under to give you the ultra chic bob. Fold hair under to your scalp and pin in place. Then style accordingly. It’ll look oh so stylish and the best part is that you can have your long hair back in no time! This style works with medium to long hair.

Color Me

You see a color you L-O-V-E but you aren’t sure if it’s for you. The best thing to do is consult a color expert who can tell you what colors will look best with your skin tone and eye color. Not in the mood to seek advice? Hit the bottle with fanci-full Temporary Hair Color ($6, Walgreens) which covers gray with ease and rinses in and washes out. You can also go boxworthy with color lasting up to 6 weeks with Revlon’s Colorsilk ($5, drugstores).

Style It

A new style is just a few spritzes away. Go curly when you normally go straight, spike it, stretch it or let it go natural. We love pomades, which are waxy products that make your hair do what you want with little product . Go for Davines Definining System Shine Pomade ($16.50, Eden XO Salon, Cranston) or Garnier Fructis Style Play Style Pliable Clay ($7, drugstores).
