Local families looking for more support for next year's education's expenses need to look right here. More than 150 scholarship and fellowship funds are available to assist Rhode Island students and families with education costs. The scholarship funds, established by donors and organizations to help defray education expenses, are managed and administered by the Rhode Island Foundation. Last year alone, the Foundation distributed more than $1.4 million in scholarship assistance.
The scholarships and fellowships available benefit students at a variety of levels, from middle school to post-graduate.
