The Rhode Island Seafood Festival returns this weekend.
There is plenty going on around the state of Rhode Island to keep you busy over the weekend. From festivals to concerts and much more, there are events for all ages.

Aurea Ensemble's Darwin at Sea at Slater Mill
Delving into Darwin’s life and creative process, this program fuses readings from Darwin’s letters, excerpts from his writings, poetry of Blake, Wordsworth & Coleridge, with string quartets of Mendelssohn and Beethoven, and harmonica improvisations of Chris Turner.

The Fab Four Beatles Tribute at Park Theatre

More than 25,000 people will visit the Cranston Greek Festival over the course of this three-day event of Food, Fun, Greek Dancing and Culture.
The Festival is held under the “Big Tents”, rain or shine.

History and Herb Hike at Casey Farm
Join Historic New England and a professional herbalist for a walk through Casey Farm and its beautiful, wooded trails. Discover the history of this landscape from the seventeenth century to today.
Learn about the farm's wide variety of herbs and their benefits, and take home some samples to enjoy. Meet at the cow barn. Includes admission for a tour of the historic farmhouse.

RI Seafood Festival at India Point Park
The Rhode Island Seafood Festival is an annual event, which began in 2011, that brings together the best local purveyors of seafood and other fine fare as well as beer, wine and spirits from Ocean State producers.
The festival features live music, activities and more.
The festival goes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Festival Guatemala at Roger Williams Park
The Guatemalan Festival is an annual event, celebrated in late August or early September to coincide with the celebration of Independence Day.
Performances of various traditional dances, and music such as the “marimba” are showcased. Festival Guatemala provides an opportunity for participants; old or young, recent immigrants and already established citizens; to enjoy a day of remembrance of their history, traditions, and culture.
The festival goes from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
