A very busy weekend of events in Rhode Island. The second round of the NCAA Tournament is set for Saturday, a Pink Floyd Tribute Band is at Newport Grand and Grand Funk Railroad and the Guess Who are at Twin River.

Not to mention Waterfire returns.

Bring Your Own Improv Family Friendly Comedy Show 

Bring Your Own Improv is in it's 9th season. The show is an interactive show that is fun for the entire family and encourages audience participation. 

The show goes from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors, military & Children 12 and under.

Slam Dunk Waterfire

In honor of the NCAA Tournament going on in Providence, a Slam dunk Waterfire will be held on Friday starting at 6 p.m.

The  event will include a Slam Dunk Basketball shootout competition in Union Plaza as well as other fun events.

The legendary bands, Grand Funk Railroad and The Guess Who will perform at the Twin River Casino event center at 7 p.m.

After an exciting first round concluded in Providence on Thursday, round two of the NCAA Tournament is set to begin at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.

The national touring Pink Floyd band from Philly is set to perform at the Newport Grand events center.

The show begins at 9 p.m. with doors opening at 8 p.m.

The St. Patricks Day Parade in Providence i set to start on Smith Street at 9 a.m. and end at the Rhode Island State House.

Newport Seal Tour

Go for a one or two hour tour through Newport Harbor and view 360 seals on Citing Rock off of Rose Island and the Newport Bridge.

A one-hour tour costs $22 for non members while a two hour tour costs $42 for non members.

To Kill a Mockingbird at Trinity Rep

One of the greatest books of  all time is now a stage show and it's coming to Providence.

Scout is a six-year-old white girl growing up during the Depression in Alabama. When her father, Atticus, is appointed to defend a black man accused of raping a white woman, Scout embarks on an evolutionary journey revealing the vast differences between people.
