Grammy Award winner Peter Frampton brings his act to Twin River for a Friday night show.

The show begins at 8 p.m. and tickets cost $45.

If/Then at PPAC

If/Then is a contemporary Broadway musical about living in New York today – and all the possibilities of tomorrow.

Food Truck Friday

It's Food Truck Fridayt at Roger Williams Park Zoo at Carousel Village from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Enjoy great food, live music and a beer garden tonight and every Friday until October 28.

The event is free to attend, but there are nominal fees to ride the carousel, participate in pony rides, or to enjoy the bounce house.

June 18

Dave Kane's Misgivings at Ocean State Theatre in Warwick

Father Patrick Aloysius Misgivings presents stories and one liners about growing up Catholic.

The show takes the audience from miracles and marriage counseling to bazaars and birth control.

The comedy includes a collection, a raffle and an actual Bingo game.

Tickets cots $25 and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

2016 Newport Storm Brew Open

Newport Storm Brewery is putting together the fun of mini golf and craft beer for a weekend of fun.

The Newport Storm Brew Open will take place on June 18 and 19 at their 2,000 square foot course next to the brewery.

The visitors center will be open throughout golf course hours with live coverage of the U.S. Open.

The event starts at noon on Saturday and goes to 8 p.m.

Great Chowder Cook-Off at Fort Adams

Fort Adams in Newport will host the 35th Annual Great Chowder Cook-Off from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Advance tickets are on sale until Friday, June 17 at midnight. You can save $5

RI Pridefest 40th Anniversary

RI Pridefest will take place from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday on South Water Street in Providence.

The festival will feature 150 vendor booths and live entertainment from artist including Sarah Potenza.

Waterfire

Waterfire returns this Saturday at Waterplace Park .

The event starts at 7:30 p.m.

3rd Annual Bristol Oyster Festival at DeWolf Tavern

No better way to spend Father's Day then at the 3rd Annual Bristol Oyster Festival.

Admission to the festival is FREE and food and beverage tickets will be on sale.

The festival goes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Providence Flea is once again taking place on 345 South Water St. in Providence.

Head to the Flea to pick up some vintage finds, fashion, furniture, art, local artisans and much more.
