A busy weekend in Rhode Island. The Brown Bears men's lacrosse team plays one of their biggest home games in histroy, Huey Lewis and the News perform at Twin River and much more.

Huey Lewis and The News at Twin River Events Center 

Huey Lewis and the News  are in their 37th year together and are still rocking and rolling hard a Grammy Award to their name. 

The band made songs such as Heart of Rock & Roll, Stuck With You, I Want a New Drug and If This is it. 

The concert begins at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7.

Arnie Louis and Bob at Trinity Rep 

The show is about three older men, two brothers and their cousin who are looking for meaning in their lives during their golden years. 

During the show, the trio comes to grips with who they are, what they have been and who they are not.

Bring Your Own Improv is in it's 9th season. The show is an interactive show that is fun for the entire family and encourages audience participation. 

The show goes from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors, military & Children 12 and under.

#1 Yale vs. #5 Brown 

The Brown men's lacrosse team will play one of their biggest home games in program history when they host Yale, the number one team in the country at 1 p.m. 

The game is huge with league implications and post season implications riding on it.

Beatles For Sale at Courthouse Center of the Arts

Beatles For Sale is an award winning, New England based tribute band that creates the sound of the Beatles as if they were live in concert. 

The band has been together since 2007 and has a catalog of over 150 songs that they can play from. 

The concert is set for 8 p.m.  and admission is $20

Live Music at the Lobster Pot 

It's opening weekend for live music at the Lobster Pot. A tradition that runs from this weekend all the way to August 27.

New England Family Fun Festival at Alex and Ani City Center

The New England Family Fun Festival will be a grew time for all ages over the weekend. The festival will involve interactive game, fitness, education and a whole lot more. 

The festival goes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m on both Saturday and Sunday.

Newport Seal Tour

Go for a one or two hour tour through Newport Harbor and view 360 seals on Citing Rock off of Rose Island and the Newport Bridge.

A one-hour tour costs $22 for non members while a two hour tour costs $42 for non members.
