In preparation for the 25th Annual Bowen's Wharf Seafood Festival, Busking at Bowens Wharf presents live acoustic music  featuring performances from My Mother's Moustache, Panoramic View, The Troubles, The Copacetics, and soloists that include Ilana Katz Katz, Dave Schneider, Warren Smith and Kate Grana. 

Performances will be held from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.  every weekend leading up to the seafood festival. 

It is FREE to attend the concerts.

Go and have fun getting lost at Escobar's Annual Corn Maze at 255 Middle Road in Portsmouth. 

The last person is allowed to enter the maze up to one hour before dusk.

10th Annual Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival

The 10th Annual Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival takes place this weekend. 

The Festival is a two day grand tasting with hundreds of wines on the lawn of Marble House. The festival will feature celebrity chef appearances and cooking demonstrations by personalties both national and regional. 

There is free parking and shuttle transportation.

Murder at the Museum: "...With the Revolver"

An interactive murder mystery set  at the Griswold House in the late 1890s

Play a role and be part of the intrigue...will you be a suspect, victim, or murderer? Keep your eyes and ears open throughout the evening, in order to solve the who, why, where and how before someone else ends up a corpse.

The event goes from 7 -8:30 p.m. at the Newport Art Museum located on 76 Bellevue Avenue.

Newport Vineyards 20th Anniversary Bash

Newport Vineyards will celebrate their 20th anniversary year, after John and Paul Nunes acquired the winery from retiring Captain Richard Alexander in 1995. The anniversary bash will take place on Sunday, September 27th.

The celebration will feature live music, food, a grape crushing competition and of course wine tasting.

This fun for all ages fair runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rogers High School.

The events include live music entertainment, baked goods, plants and fun for all ages.
