This weekend’s events include the Pell Bridge Run, a Craft Fair at Baptist Church, and an Artist Reception at the Made in Warren Artists Reception.

Mrs. Perry’s Pumpkin Patch

Saturday is the opening day of the pumpkin patch. 

Visitors of all ages can buy and decorate pumpkins and balloons, or get their faces painted. Admission, live music, family games, and photo ops are all free. Homemade treats will be available at the bake sale as snacks or to take away.

The patch is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"The Ladies of Linden Place" Guided Mansion Tour

As you tour the 200-year old mansion rooms, the women of Linden Place come alive through portraits, photographs, artifacts and more. Learn about generations of DeWolf & Colt women who lived at Linden Place and the daily lives and roles of ladies in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Hear the stories about the different women who lived and worked at Linden Place Mansion from 1810 through 1986.

Tours begin at 11 a.m.

Pell Bridge Run 

The run is a four mile run across the Newport Bridge and it is open to all runners and walkers. 

The event is not-for-profit and 100% of proceeds will go to support local not-for-profits.

The run will go from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Craft Fair at the Baptist Church in Warren

The Baptist Church in Warren will be hosting a Craft Fair from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

In addition to local vendors, there will be a snack bar, bake sale, raffles and much more

Featured Artist Reception at Made in Warren Artists Cooperative 

Featured Artists include painter Matthew Finger, wood-fired ceramic artist Rose Esson-Dawson, paper artist & author Mary Jane Bohlen, potter Jorge Armado, and illustrator Charity Enos.

There will be refreshments from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Made In Warren featured artist, breast cancer survivor, and author Mary Jane will be doing a book signing table for "Bosom Buddies". Featured artist Rose Esson-Dawson will be demonstrating her craft of surface decoration of drawing on pottery.

The reception runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
