The Current - Witness Discussion
The Bay Spring Community Centers original spoken word program, The Currents, kicks off 2016 with our annual Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend event on January 16 at 7PM. Five speakers, including PJ Fox of the Institute for the Study and Practice of Non-Violence, will share their thoughts on the topic of Witness and engage in spirited discussions with audience members. The Currents offers ideas that sweep you away.

Nina A. Baugh: In Search of a Studio of Her Own Exhibit Opening
Baugh created artwork between the ages of 13 and 25, when she married. Pieces from the Nina A. Baugh collection, complemented by art treasures from the Jamestown Historical Society, provide us a rare glimpse into the into daily life on Conanicut Island in the 1920s and 1930s.
Exhibit opens on Saturday, January 16, 6 8pm. Gallery hours through March 5.
