Chino

Chino is a sweet young boy. He is 11 months and would do best if he had another dog friend to help him get a little more socialized. He is super energetic and can be jumpy sometimes so older kids and adults are best for Chino. No cats as he does not have any history with them and he is a young and fast boy. Chino is working with staff on his basic obedience so he'll need someone comfortable with his puppy behavior and willing to work with him moving forward. He loves walks and would be a great hiking buddy!

Victorino

Meet, Victorino! This pint-sized cutie can be nervous at first but will quickly steal your heart. Victorino is housebroken, loves walks and resting his tiny head on your chest. He has a history with children and smaller dogs - based on our observations at PARL, would do best in a home with older kids and as the only pet. If dogs are considered, a small/calm dog is preferred. During his vet exam, we discovered that Vic has a grade 3 heart murmur. Adopters should be proactive about getting this checked moving forward. Pleased to meet you, my name is Sincere! I am a 9 yr old, mixed breed male. I am of the medium to large variety and built like a teacup - short and stout! My time here at PARL mimics that of my history, which is some nervousness around new people that soon blossoms into kisses and cat-like body rubs. I have a history with children who were polite and gentle with me. Kiddos who want to interact too much too fast may startle me. Staff are open to me going home with a dog who is social and confident. I have interacted with several females my size but have a limited history with other males. I am Skyler! I am a 9 year old Pitty-type dog and sweet as pie! I am social and easy going with new folks. I enjoy going for brisk walks followed by a good snooze. I have interacted with several dogs here at PARL so staff is open to speaking with potential adopters with dogs. I do have a history of resource guarding my food bowl from other pets. Staff would be happy to speak with the right family about how this can be managed safely. I have been around children and done well so a home with kids is A-OK with me! As I am an older girl, I do have some medical things that my adopters will need to keep an eye on.
