You'll notice not much has changed in terms of rankings in this week's Power Pack.  Why? Well, none of the Top 10 teams in last week's rankings lost an RIIL game in the past week, so it's hard to drop anyone out of the Top 10 after a perfromace like that.  This upcoming week features a loaded slate of games (in part due to weather postponements) and should do a better job of shaking up the Top 10.  The sneaky huge game of the week?  Next Wednesday night a pair of Division 2 North rivals go head to head (possibly with both still undefeated on the season).  A look forward to that game and much more inside this week's updated Power Pack.

PCD/Wheeler/SRA Co-op

Division Record: 7-3-1 (Division 2 North)

Overall Record: 7-3-1

No one was as busy as PCD/Wheeler/SRA Co-op last weekend.  With wins over Pilgrim and Portsmouth and a tie vs. a very good North Kingstown team sandwiched in between, it was a successful weekend for the Co-op.  The compete level will pick up this weekend, however, when PCD/Wheeler/SRA takes on Cumberland Friday night in a big Division 2 North matchup.

Cumberland

Division Record: 7-0 (Division 2 North)

Overall Record: 8-0

Cumberland knocked off Mt. Hope last weekend and now faces a brutal 3 game (in 3 days!) stretch this weeekend.  The Clippers will take on PCD/Wheeler/SRA Co-op on Friday night, Toll Gate on Saturday, and Portsmouth on Sunday. I hope the Cumberland teachers didn't assign too much homework over the weekend.

Lincoln

Division Record: 10-0 (Division 2 North)

Overall Record: 10-0

An impressive 4-1 win over North Kingstown on Monday inches the Lions closer to the Top 3 than many will give them credit for, but they've been that good this year in Division 2.  South Kingstown awaits Lincoln this Saturday night, but the game everyone is looking forward to is next Wednesday's clash between Division 2 unbeatens and bitter rivals Cumberland and Lincoln at Adelard Arena.

La Salle

Divison Record: 3-3-1 (Division 1 Cimini)

Overall Record: 5-6-1

La Salle had a challenge on their hands last weekend, but managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over Barrington.  The Rams hold onto a top 3 spot for now, but the gap between them and the teams ahead of them is getting wider.  La Salle takes on Coventry Friday night in what should be a statement win.

Mount St. Charles

Divison Record: 8-1 (Division 1 Cimini)

Overall Record: 10-5

Mount St. Charles routed Coventry 11-0 last Friday, but the Mounties lost 5-2 to Cathedral High School (in Springfield, MA) in nonleague play. There's still no doubt they're the #2 team in Rhode Island right now, and this weekend the Mounties will face Barrington and Smithfield in Division 1 action.
