Middletown

Division Record: 2-0-1 (Division 2 Central)

Overall Record: 2-0-2

Middletown can put the puck in the net, that much is certain.  With 19 goals in 3 league games (including at least 5 in each game) they have the most goals for in Division 2.  The key will be keeping the puck out of their own net (9 goals allowed, including 5 in a tie with Rogers/Tiverton/Rocky Co-op).

Smithfield

Division Record: 1-2 (Division 1 Eccleston)

Overall Record: 1-2

Smithfield might not have a winning record, but they've played some tough games early on and have emerged as a potential spoiler in Division 1.  Smithfield has a big game this Friday against Mount St. Charles.

North Kingstown

Division Record: 2-0 (Division 2 South)

Overall Record: 2-0-1

North Kingstown is off to a good start in Division 2, with 13 goals and just 2 allowed in their first two league games thus far.  One matchup to keep an eye on this weekend: Cumberland and NK on Saturday night at Adelard Arena.

South Kingstown

Division Record: 2-0 (Division 2 South)

Overall Record: 2-0-1

South Kingstown is off to a hot start as well in Division 2 South, and the Rebels have a chance to get to 4-0 this weekend if they can handle Toll Gate and Prout.  With 11 goals and 3 allowed thus far, the Rebels are showing the balance to be a key player in Division 2.

Lincoln

Division Record: 3-0 (Division 2 North)

Overall Record: 3-0

The Lions are my top rated team in Division 2 because they're the only squad to boast 3 eague wins to this point.  Averaging a clean 4 goals for and 1 allowed per game. Lincoln faces back to back road tests this weekend against Mt. Hope and North Smithfield.

Cranston Co-op

Division Record: 2-1 (Division 1 Eccleston)

Overall Record: 2-1

Wins over Coventry and Smithfield make Cranston Co-op the top team in the Eccleston division so far.  Cranston Co-op takes on Mount St. Charles this Saturday and could win some people over with a strong showing.

La Salle

Division Record: 1-1 (Division 1 Cimini)

Overall Record: 1-1

La Salle throttled Smithfield 7-1 before falling in a close 201 game to Mount St. Charles. The Rams figure to be the biggest threat to Hendricken and Mount's place atop the state's hockey ranks.  There's no bigger game this weekend than the Rams and the Hawks squaring off Saturday night at Thayer Arena.

Mount St. Charles

Division Record: 2-1 (Division 1 Cimini)

Overall Record: 3-1

Mount knocked off La Salle 2-1 but was beaten by Hendricken in another 2-1 decision.  As such, they rank 2nd here, and look to bounce back this weekend against Smithfield and Cranston Co-op.

Hendricken

Division Record: 3-0 (Division 1 Cimini)

Overall Record: 3-0

13 goals for, 1 against.  With wins over Mount St. Charles, Coventry, and Cranston Co-op, there's no debate about Hendricken's standing atop Division 1 and atop this Power Pack.  This Saturday's matchup with La Salle is a must-watch.
