GAME ON: Portsmouth v. LaSalle

Saturday, September 24, 2011

Anthony Francis

The High School D-I Football season is getting interesting and the Portsmouth v La Salle game may have been the preview of something bigger. Portsmouth entered the game 3-0 and 2-0 in D-I play and La Salle Rams comes into the game scoring over 100 points in three wins (106) and surrendering just 21.

Last night in the rain La Salle proved the better - beating Portsmouth in Providence, 38-21.

Again this season Josh Morris was a big factor - going over 100 yards, but it was Anthony Francis who dominated the ground game. The quarterback went over 150 yards on the ground. La Salle is now 3-0 in D-I and 4-0 overall.
