The Rhode Island baseball playoffs get underway on Saturday.

With a number of important playoff games coming up this weekend in Rhode Island, here's what to look for:

Lacrosse

The girls and boys Division I lacrosse state championships will take place this weekend at Brown University.

Undefeated Barrington High School will take on a confident La Salle team in the girls state final. Barrington is led by Kelly Dolan, who has scored 60 goals this season, as the Eagles will look to get their state crown after losing in the finals last year. The start time for that game will be 6pm at Brown on Saturday.

They've been led by Brady O'Donnell and Joe Manown, who are the top two scorers in the state. That game is set for 5pm on Sunday at Brown.

Baseball

The first round of the Division I and II state baseball tournaments will get underway on Saturday. In Division I, Bishop Hendricken earned the North Division's number one seed, while North Kingstown earned the South Division's number one seed.

In Division II, East Providence has earned the number one seed.
