Brady O'Donnell led all of Division I in scoring this season.

Five Rhode Island boys lacrosse standouts were named US Lacrosse All Americans this week.

Three La Salle stars

La Salle attackmen Brady O'Donnell and Joe Manown, along with defenseman Dan Wise were named All-Americans after helping La Salle capture its second straight Division I Rhode Island lacrosse title.

O'Donnell, the Bryant-bound senior, has been the most explosive attack in the state over the past two seasons. This past season, O'Donnell led Division I in scoring, scoring 64 goals and compiling 99 points.

Manown was arguably the best player in the state this season as a sophomore, along with O'Donnell. The Duke commit was named the Player of the Game in the state championship game, leading his team to a 14-3 win over Moses Brown. Manown finished his sophomore season with 54 goals and a total of 95 points, good for second in Division I behind O'Donnell.

Wise was La Salle's rock on defense this season, shutting down opposing offenses en route to the Rams winning back-to-back state titles.

Hendricken and Moses Brown Stars

Hendricken's Alex Perreault may have been the best midfielder in the state, before his season ended early due to an injury. The John Hopkin's bound Perreault had shoulder surgery mid-season, putting a damper on Hendricken's promising season, as the Hawks fell to Moses Brown in the Division I semifinals.

Moses Brown midfielder Jamie McCahan was also named an All-American after leading his team to the Division I state finals. Although McCahan was shutdown by a stingy La Salle defense in the state title game, McCahan was highly regarded as one of the top players in the state.
