Division I Girls’ Lacrosse Playoffs

The 2012 girls' lacrosse bracket is out, and much of the playoff action begins this afternoon.

The Division I playoffs start with two games at 4 p.m. this afternoon, as top-seeded Moses Brown (15-1) takes on 8th-seed Cranston West (3-11) at 4 p.m. The winner of that matchup will face off against the winner of 4th-seed East Greenwich (9-4) and 5th-seed Bayview (8-6), who will play at 4 p.m. this afternoon in East Greenwich.

2nd-seed Barrington High School (14-3) will take on 7th-seed South Kingstown (4-9) at 5 p.m. tonight in Barrington. The winner of that game will face the winner of 3rd-seed La Salle (10-3) and 6th-seed North Kingstown (8-6), who will face off at 6:30 p.m. tonight in Providence.

The semifinal round will take place at Rhode Island College on May 30. The championship game is scheduled for 2 p.m. on June 2, also at RIC.
