The St. Joseph Health Center will celebrate its one year anniversary on Thursday, April 23 with a speaking program and health fair. The fresh food distribution program will be available on this day, as it is on every fourth Thursday of the month from noon - 2 p.m.

“Over this past year, we have made a difference by partnering with the Rhode Island Food Bank and Federal Hill House to make fresh food more readily available to the community we serve,” said Lester P. Schindel, CEO of CharterCARE Health Partners.

In it's first year, the program has distributed over 36,000 lbs of fresh produce to lower-income Rhode Islanders.
