RI’s Ghost Hunters Give “Millionaire” Winnings to Hasbro
Thursday, November 25, 2010
Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, founders and lead paranormal investigators of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) based in Warwick, paid a very important visit to Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence recently. The two came bearing a check for $61,100 that they won on a Halloween episode of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” with Emmy Award-winning host Meredith Vieira to benefit the hospital.
Hawes and Wilson travel the country with TAPS to assist people with questions regarding paranormal activity and ghost hunting. These investigations are chronicled on Syfy’s popular “Ghost Hunters” television series. Clips from the episode were shown prior to the offical check presentation, which took place in the lower lobby of Hasbro Children's Hospital.
