For the first-ever ranking of New England's Best Hospitals Rated By Patients, GoLocal analyzed more than 50,000 results from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems, also known as the HCAHPS Survey.  See how all the hospitals ranked below, and see patient responses to 8 key measures, from communication to cleanliness and pain management.

Most of these hospitals have fewer than 50 beds, several with about 25 so while they might be quieter than the largest if I had a life threatening emergency or serious ailment I want to go where a hospital has the expertise, equipment and experience to deal with the issue. If I want quiet check into a B&B.
