Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Hospital Seminar Discusses What Every Woman Should Know

This Thursday evening, South County Hospital in Narragansett hosts a panel presentation on breast cancer featuring Marie McCormick, N.P. Breast Health Coordinator, Dr. J. Smythe, Medical Oncologist, Dr. J. Carlston, Pathologist, Dr. M. Holzman, Radiation Oncology, Dr. N. Levy, Radiologist, Dr. U. Capuano, General Surgeon and Breast Cancer Survivor,
Panelists will discuss the latest information and options on screening, diagnosis, treatment, surgery and recovery, and breast cancer survivor Lisa Diebold shares her moving story. In addition, the hospital’s Breast Health Coordinator explains how she helps navigate the entire diagnostic and treatment process.
