Vanderbilt Grace Welcomes Beijing Chef Liu Peng Mars To US

Newport's Vanderbilt Grace Hotel will host Beijing chef Liu Peng Mars to cook an Asian-inspired menu with Chef Jonathan Cartwright at the fine dining restaurant, Muse. Mars is the Chef de Cuisine at the Grace Beijing, sister hotel to the Vanderbilt Grace. The chefs will join forces for a set of dinners on July 5 and 6, 2013. 

The savory event hopes to create a unique dining experience with exquisite flavors and creative presentations. For two days, Muse's entire menu will feature special Asian-inspired dishes and offer a culinary fusion of East meets West for diners. With his extensive background from international hotels and restaurants, Chef Mars will mesh his contemporary cooking style with the Muse restaurant’s fine dining cuisine. The menu and dishes will certainly highlight the creativity and culinary passion for flavors of this experienced Beijing chef. 

More summer fun at the Vanderbilt Grace

The Vanderbilt Grace Luxury Hotel is a quintessential Newport mansion that offers amenities and accommodations of a luxurious hotel. This summer, Vanderbilt Grace is also hosting movie nights on its rooftop terrace. Accompanied by truffle popcorn, the movies begin at 8:30 PM and tickets cost $18.
