Top 10 of 2010: Cook & Brown’s Nemo Bolin

Monday, December 27, 2010

In a state with a remarkable number of talented, high-profile chefs, this soft-spoken, idiosyncratic guy popped up a restaurant in a low-traffic area on Providence's East Side, and within weeks was a sensation.

Cook & Brown Public House has not only become the year's most talked-about new eatery (including being highlighted as

one of Esquire Magazine's 20 Best New Restaurants of 2010) and shifted the local conversation upscale in terms of food and cocktails, it has also attracted celebrity visitors who used to stay quietly, safely, with Al Forno. Bravo, Nemo.
