The Blackstone Valley holds many culinary treasures, and the Secret Ingredient Tours reveal one a week all summer long. Here, a sweet pizza from Bob & Timmy's in North Smithfield.

While you may think that summer food in Rhode Island is all about the Bay, think again. Blackstone Valley is home to one of the most original behind-the-scenes food tours, and there's a whole summer's worth of events, kicking off July 11.

The Secret Ingredient Food Tour, continued by popular demand by the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council (BVTC) will roam up and down the historic region of Rhode Island, stopping at spots ranging from Japanese restaurants to classic burger joints, and each tour offers participants live demonstrations as well as meals.

Check out the complete schedule, below, running July 11 through September 19. Tours are every Wednesday at 6pm.
