Providence Among Most Likely to Have a Hangover on New Year’s Day
Wednesday, December 30, 2015
According to a new study, Providence is one of the top American cities most likely to have a hangover after a little too much partying on New Year’s Eve.
Providence came in at number five in the a study by Trulia. That likely hangover is spurred by the city’s ranking at number nine on the list of cities most likely to party hard. When they need to aide that headache or upset stomach, locals are in luck. The city was the sixth best place to recover from a hangover, according to Trulia.
The study was conducted by remaining neighborhood amenities data on Trulia’s site, which was compiled via data from Yelp. They examined which cities have the most breweries, bars, and general nightlife per 10,000 households. They also layered the data with the highest number of comfort food restaurants and drugstores to form their “Hangover Index.”
