Newport Storm Brewery Releases New Sourpuss Beer
Monday, June 22, 2015
North American wheat malt, North American pale malt, and Warrior hops are all fermented to create a sour ale. Next, Oregon dark cherries are added in to sweeten up the brew.
According to Brewmaster Derek Luke, one should let the beer settle for a while before enjoying it, all so that the acidity balances out and cherry flavor shines through.
Sourpuss has an alcohol by volume level of six percent and can be tracked down on Newport Storm Brewery’s website.
