Seasons at the Ocean House in Westerly Rhode Island has been named as one of the top 100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America by opentable.com.

The top 100 was put together based on over five million verified OpenTable diner reviews of more than 20,000 restaurants across the country. The list sites places that are perfect for french toast, spicy bloody mary's and other breakfast favorites.

The Salted Slate is an “agri-driven American restaurant with global influences.” They pride themselves on whole animal purchasing, supporting local farms and fishermen. Brunch is served from 9am-3pm. Their menu is unique, with options like the “Chubby Duckling” (2 sunny side Pat’s Pastured duck eggs, herbed confit duck leg and poutine) and Chicken and Waffles. f you’re looking for a classic and elegant Sunday brunch, look no further than the Ocean House in Watch Hill. Every Sunday at their Seasons restaurant they put on “Sunday Champagne Jazz Brunch” – brunch is from 8AM-2:30PM, with jazz from 11:300AM-2:30PM. They have a make-your-own Bloody Mary bar, including an extensive list of mixers, spirits and garnishes. Sample menu options include Roast duck breast, Lobster risotto Cakes with poached eggs, a crepe bar and a raw bar. Dress code is resort casual.

Chapel Grille

The Chapel Grille in Cranston knows a thing or two about a good brunch. Diners can choose between an “a la carte” menu and a buffet. If ordering a la carte, expect to see entrees like the Filet and Egg – a petite filet of beef, poached egg, sautéed spinach, olive oil hollandaise, garlic bruschetta and home fries. Stoneacre Pantry

Stoneacre Pantry opened in 2013 and gets its produce, fish and meat from local farms and fishermen, putting an emphasis on sustainability and the humane treatment of animals.  The charcuterie and cheese selections are delightful and the main dish options – like truffle egg toast with wild mushrooms and arugula or Pork Belly sandwich with house mustard and pickled onions – are pretty great, too.

Eleven Forty Nine

1149 Division St, East Greenwich

The 1149 in East Greenwich serves brunch every Sunday from 10:00 to 2:00 pm, and features a live jazz guitarist. Their award winning buffet features a variety of soups and salads, plus smoked salmon, baked goods and breakfast pastries.

Breakfast favorites like thick cut French toast made with Portuguese sweet bread, Nimen Ranch breakfast sausage, Apple wood smoked bacon, roasted potato hash with fresh herbs and caramelized onions and handmade Belgium waffles are also served.

Eggs Benedict, a carving station, and an omelet station are also available.

Duck and Bunny

The Duck and Bunny refers to itself as a "snuggery," which is "a cozy and comfortable place." It certainly lives up to it's name. Brunch is served EVERY DAY from 10am-4pm and has a menu available which includes fruit, crepes, and interesting omelets.  Our favorite is the New York System Hot Wiener Omelette, which includes hot wieners, meat sauce, cheddar cheese, celery salt & yellow mustard.

Also be sure to check out the Red Velvet Snuggery Cakes, which are topped with chocolate chips and cream cheese drizzle.

Crazy Burger has an awesome "Name Your Own Omelet" offering - where you can get an omelet made up of pretty much anything - and they have great vegan and wheat free options as well. Plus pancakes, waffles, and french toast, quesadillas, and crepes - including our favorite stuffed spinach crepes.

You can BYOB, or have a smoothie, or signature "create your own flavor" combo, like apple-celery, pear-ginger-apple, or apple-kale-pineapple-cilantro.

Treehouse Tavern

The Treehouse Tavern Sunday Brunch is available from 8am-2pm. Homemade corned beef hash is a favorite here, along with several egg benedict selections, including the amazing Belgian benedict, featuring chopped bacon in a Belgian waffle topped with two poached eggs and hollandaise served with rosemary potato.

The crepes are amazing, and they have a wide array of brunch cocktails to sample, too.

The Hungry Monkey

The Hungry Monkey has some amazing breakfast specialties - the southern style biscuits and gravy are delicious.

Make sure to check out the Reuben Omelet, which is 3 eggs, corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese and 1,000 Island served with home fries and toast. Another favorite is the "Spicy Monkey," which is a three-scrambled egg burrito with sausage, salsa and cheese with home fries.
