Massimo to Celebrate 1 Year Anniversary With Spring Wine Tasting

Massimo to celebrate one year anniversary on National Wine Day

Massimo Restaurant will celebrate its first year anniversary with a Spring Wine Tasting on National Wine Day. 

The celebration will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 25. 

Massimo is located at 134 Atwells Ave in Providence.

Reservations are recommended (not required) and can be made by calling 401-273-0650.  

Spring Wine Tasting 

The Spring Wine Tasting will honor the Italy to Table concept that Massimo has put together over the last year. 

Guests will have the chance to taste dozens of wines while enjoying appetizers for $25 per person. 

Massimo will offer tasting from the following regions and varietals: 

  • Piedmont-  Dolcetto, Barbera,   Nebbiolo D’Alba, Barbaresco, Barolo, Arneis
  • Tuscany- Chianti, Chianti Classico , Chianti Classico Riserva, Rose, Super Tuscans
  • Veneto- Prosecco, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sparkling Rose.  
  • Southern Italy- Fiano, Greco di Tufi, Aglianico, Falanghina.

Twin Oaks has all kinds of great food, but their baked stuff shrimp is some of the best that you will have. Five shrimp that are ready to be eaten as is or dump drawn butter all over them and dig in. Either way, Twin Oaks Baked Stuff Shrimp is some of the best you will have.

Twin Oaks opened in 1933 with only two small private dinning rooms that held only 16 people. Since then, Twin Oaks has grown to six dining rooms and seats 650 people.
